Giga Dragoon S (5x Scale)

These are STL files for 3d printing a 5x scale Dragoon S Beyblade. It also includes files for the stickers. These files will be updated based on user feedback.

Overall Size is about 11" wide 5" tall

If you attempt to launch these please wear safety goggles as a bare minimum. Plastics chunks will go flying. Please do not try to grab them while spinning they are dangerous. These "battle tops" will hurt you.

All parts are printable on a 256mm x 256mm build plate. The attack ring is too large for a 220mm x 220mm Ender 3. These files should scale well if you wanted to go bigger or smaller.

Everything fits together exactly like a typical early 2000s "battle top". The tolerances are tight so that the attack ring is friction fit and nothing moves around while in use. There are three places that (may)need hardware.

The bit chip is typically held in place by a large clear cover. Since the clear cover is difficult to manufacture, I added holes for two screws. Most typical wood screws, m3 or #8 will work. The hole is sized just under 1/8" and screw length should be .5" - .75". (may require heat or drilling)

Tip 2 is designed to house a carriage bolt. The one I found for this is a stainless square neck carriage bolt, .75" long 5/16-18 threads. This is not necessary the fully printed tip works fine.

The two clips grab onto two cylinders in the base. This is a potential weak point so there is a hole where a .25" dia x .75" dowel pin can be inserted (may require heat or drilling). I have not needed to add pins but if it does break it should be an easy fix.

Weight Ring

If you want to have the weight ring machined, lazered or otherwise produced from flat material, I've included .DXF outlines. Total thickness of the rings when assembled should be .75". Although its better to be slightly thinner. Note it is much harder to launch by hand if you add substantial weight.

Launcher is coming soon and will be added to this file. Currently it requires 2x bearings and a 1/4" dia x 2" clevis pin.

Stickers are provided in PNG format with templates for Cricut or just normal printing.

Please note the image on the bit chip is a low resolution image. I vectorized everything else but had trouble boosting the resolution on these.
